Oracle Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS) Consultant

About the role

You will design allocation and profitability models with finance and operations teams, and make the results traceable enough that business owners accept them. See how we deliver Oracle Profitability and Cost Management.

What you will do

  • Design the application, dimensions and allocation approach with finance leaders.
  • Build allocation rules, rulesets and drivers, and tune them to run within the close window.
  • Integrate cost, revenue and driver data from ERPs and operational systems.
  • Build trace reports, dashboards and profitability analysis.
  • Validate results with business owners and document the logic.

What you bring

  • Three or more years of PCMCS, HPCM or Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management work.
  • Strong understanding of cost allocation and profitability analysis.
  • Experience integrating data from at least one ERP.
  • The ability to explain allocation logic to non-specialists.

Nice to have

  • An Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Implementation Professional certification.
  • Oracle EPM Planning or Essbase.
  • Industry experience in banking, healthcare or manufacturing.
