Senior Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant

About the role

You will design and build Adaptive Planning models with FP&A teams, from the first sheet design to dashboards executives use in their monthly review. See how we deliver Workday Adaptive Planning.

What you will do

  • Design models, levels, dimensions and sheets around how the client actually plans.
  • Build revenue, expense, workforce and capital plans with the formulas and allocations behind them.
  • Connect Adaptive Planning to Workday Financials and HCM, or to other source systems, so plans start from actuals.
  • Build reports and dashboards for department owners and executives.
  • Run testing with FP&A and train them to maintain the model.

What you bring

  • Four or more years of hands-on Adaptive Planning work, including at least two full implementations.
  • A current Workday Adaptive Planning certification.
  • A solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting and financial statements.
  • The patience to turn spreadsheet logic into a model that others can maintain.

Nice to have

  • Adaptive Planning integrations (Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce or flat-file).
  • OfficeConnect.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Oracle EPM Planning or OneStream.

  • Direct client work. You work with the client’s finance, HR and IT teams yourself, with no layers of account managers in between.
  • Small, senior teams. The consultants who scope the work deliver it, with a senior Cogleus lead on every engagement.
  • Remote across the United States. If an engagement needs time on site, we tell you before you start.
  • Room to grow. Our projects span Workday, Oracle EPM and ERP, and Google Cloud, so your work doesn’t have to stop at one module.
