Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics Consultant

About the role

You will design and build reporting across Workday Financials and HCM, replacing exports and spreadsheets with reports and dashboards people trust. See how we deliver Workday Reporting and Analytics.

What you will do

  • Gather reporting requirements from finance, HR and executive stakeholders.
  • Build advanced, matrix and composite reports, calculated fields and dashboards.
  • Design Prism Analytics datasets that bring outside data into Workday reporting.
  • Build financial statements and management reports with the client’s accountants.
  • Tune report performance and secure sensitive data correctly.
  • Document reports so the client’s team can maintain them.

What you bring

  • Three or more years of building Workday reports across more than one functional area.
  • Strong calculated field skills and knowledge of Workday data sources.
  • Experience with composite reports or Prism Analytics.
  • The ability to explain a report’s logic to the people who rely on it.

Nice to have

  • A Workday Pro or partner certification in reporting or Prism.
  • Workday Accounting Center or Peakon data.
  • SQL and a BI tool such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau.

  • Direct client work. You work with the client’s finance, HR and IT teams yourself, with no layers of account managers in between.
  • Small, senior teams. The consultants who scope the work deliver it, with a senior Cogleus lead on every engagement.
  • Remote across the United States. If an engagement needs time on site, we tell you before you start.
  • Room to grow. Our projects span Workday, Oracle EPM and ERP, and Google Cloud, so your work doesn’t have to stop at one module.
